Ruth Wilson Reading Through a Glass Darkly

Next week Ruth Wilson will be taking part in a reading, script in hand, of a stage adaptation of Ingmar Bergman’s film Through A Glass Darkly.

Through a Glass Darkly describes 24 hours in the life of a family vacationing on the island of Fårö, off Sweden's south east coast. Karin [played by Ruth] has been brought to the remote island by her family in order to facilitate her recuperation from a psychotic episode. However, the family’s already fragile ties are tested; with Karin’s father, husband and younger brother so consumed by their own frailties that they cannot prevent her relapse.

The reading will be on May 28 at 6.00 pm & May 29 at 8.00 pm at the Ingmar Bergman International Theater Festival.

Lara Pulver article in Highlife magazine

Here's another article featuring Lara Pulver. This one is from the May 2009 issue of the British Airways in-flight magazine "Highlife". In it Lara discusses what she packs when she's traveling.

Yes, it's an excuse for me to post another photo of Lara.

You can read the article at http://www.bahighlife.com/Destinations/Lara-Pulver-Ill-be-packing.html

Lucy Liemann Forum

Given the vast popularity of Lucy Liemann (at least as evidenced by my web stats) I've decided to create a Lucy Liemann forum. Hopefully a few of you will stop by and add some posts to it.

You can find the forum at lucyliemann.proboards.com

Lara Pulver in the london paper

I found an interview with Lara Pulver on 'the london paper' website tonight. It's not a new one, rather its dated 23 April so it must have coincided with her first episode of Robin Hood.

One bit of news is that her first movie will be Roundheads and Cavaliers which is described as "an ensemble about four couples".

You can read the article at the link below or discuss it at the forum (http://larapulver.proboards.com/index.cgi).

Lucy Liemann in Reggie Perrin episode 4

Well, there was a massive jump in visitors to the blog after last night's episode of Reggie Perrin. It was the episode with the business trip to Finland and featured a lot of Lucy Liemann as Jasmine. In fact I think it's safe to say that it had the most screen time for Lucy in the series so far.

And big shock, don't say it too loud, it was actually quite amusing...

In the episode Reggie has a spur-of-the-moment idea to go on a trip to Finland to keep his boss of his back and he insists that Jasmine accompany him. There they get a bit drunk and eventually lock lips before Reggie realises he loves his wife.

I have to say apart from being gorgeous Lucy has great comic timing.

And now, if you've been good, here are a few screen-grab type images of Lucy from last night's episode...

Lara Pulver in Sunday Mirror magazine

I found a magazine on eBay that Lara Pulver was featured in to coincide with her first appearance on Robin Hood. The mag in question was the Sunday Mirror magazine dated 26 April 2009 and she is in the center pages modeling some denim outfits.

The quality of the printing and paper was poor but I attempted some scans.

Nice to see her in some modern era outfits!

Robin Hood – A Dangerous Deal Ep 9/12

Thanks to Anna for sending me this link. The BBC website has a press office section and they post a lot of info on upcoming shows. They have a long description of the episode of Robin Hood due to be shown on Saturday 30 May. I've included the first bit as it's very interesting however I've omitted the rest as it gives a lot away.

Robin Hood – A Dangerous Deal

Robin Hood asks why Isabella has made a pact with the devil, otherwise known as Prince John, and accepted his patronage to become the new Sheriff Of Nottingham, as the medieval adventure with a modern twist continues.

Defiant Isabella insists she works for herself and intends to be the best Sheriff of Nottingham that England has ever known.

Isabella as the Shefiff! I didn't see that coming!

You can read the full description of episode 9 at this link, but beware of spoilers...
