When the first season of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles arrived on TV at the start of the year it was must-watch TV for me. I was already a fan of Lena Headey and the (first two) Terminator movies.
However I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the writing and the character-driven nature of the stories. The production values were high and there were some genuinely gruesome moments, e.g. the 'Cromartie' terminator getting new 'skin'.
Because of the writers strike the season ended after just nine episode so I was very happy to hear that there was going to be a second season, the first episode of which arrives on UK TV next Thursday, 23 October 2008.
Today's times has an article on Shirley Manson who plays a new character:

Also here's news that "Fox has just given a full-season order" for the show:

By the way, Virgin 1 have been broadcasting a behind-the-scenes show in advance of the new series. It's on again tonight if you've missed it.
